Social Media Training for St George’s Hospital Charity

St George’s Hospital Charity needed social media training. The initial enquiry came directly through our Social Media Training For Charities page on our website.

Based at St George’s Hospital in Tooting, home of #24hrsAE, St George’s Hospital Charity asked Luminescence to provide social media training to support the increase in online activity and exploit possible fundraising as the Channel 4 programme aired.

St Georges' Hospital Charity

What we did

Luminescence designed a bespoke social media training day for their needs to include a comprehensive session looking at their social media strategy and a follow up session on how to manage the multi stream social media activity within their teams.

“The 2 days we have spent with [Luminescence] have been very valuable to us and we will definitely be changing a lot of things based on what we have learnt.

Anna was also a pleasure to spend time with and made the training interesting and fun.”

Results

Following the social media training, the fundraising team had the skills and knowledge to manage their social media streams to post, respond, comment or elevate to a manager, during the very busy periods when the Channel 4 show was airing.

They aligned their actions to the social media strategy and guidelines developed from the first session.
