Luminescence has been shortlisted for a national PR award, recognising its excellence in Property PR, joining the top 23% of UK PR agencies shortlisted.

Organised by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR), the Excellence Awards are the longest-running and most rigorously assessed awards in public relations. This year, it received 550 entries from agencies and in-house PR teams from across the UK.

Later this month, panel interviews will be conducted by the judges as they deliberate on this year’s winners, which will be announced on 6 June 2017 at a glittering ceremony at The Artillery Garden, London.

Luminescence has been shortlisted in the inaugural Best Construction, Property or Infrastructure Campaign category for its targeted and tenacious PR work for Essex-based Clear Architects. This follows the Cambridge agency’s rebrand and same-day award win at the regional CIPR PRide Awards for its PR work with law firm Taylor Vinters.

Anna Lawlor, Head of Content & PR at Luminescence, said:

“We love working with Clear Architects and it has been extremely rewarding to see our highly targeted PR strategy bear fruit, achieving not just lucrative media coverage for the brand but making a direct contribution to the practice’s bottom line.

“I am incredibly proud that last year we provided a staggering 2,700% return on investment to this client, a tangible demonstration of what the Luminescence PR team can achieve.”

From January 2016 to February 2017, Luminescence generated positive coverage of Clear Architects in prestigious titles including The Sunday Times, Grand Designs, RIBA Journal, The Daily Mail and The Metro. The practice reached 465 million online readers, 632,000 coverage views and achieved a Best of Design digital media award by Houzz (beating one-million other design professionals on the social media platform).

Melanie Clear, Founder of Clear Architects, said:

“This CIPR Excellence Awards shortlist is brilliant news for Luminescence. They understand me and my vision for the practice, helping Clear Architects be more visible, gain commissions and have a tangible USP over our competitors. I look forward to celebrating with them.”
